For the last year, ever since we first got together, me and my boyfriend have been in agreement that every other week is our choice for wednesday 'date day', depending on which films are out we usually end up going to the cinema. And this week, for the first time in months was my choice in film, so I decided we'd watch 'Safe Haven'.
Being a Nicholas Sparks book to film adaptation, for any romantic film lover, you know instantly that this is a good choice in film! However, with any of his films they've got the basic boy meets girl tragic love story concept so it's a little predictable, but this didn't bother me in the slightest. It's been too long since I last watched a romantic film and this was the perfect one to watch!
I also find that Josh Duhamel and Julianne Hough made the perfect match for each other and had great chemistry in the film...and to be totally honest I'll go to any film to watch Josh Duhamel!
I took my boyfriend to see this film, and the fact we're not the most romantic couple, this is probably one from the short list of love stories we've watched together, but he was a good sport and sat through the two hours just for me. So, probably a note to any girl wanting to watch this film, if your boyfriend doesn't sound too excited by this film it might be a good idea to ask a girlfriend to go with you, which might make going to watch this film more enjoyable as you can have a little cry together, and talk about how much you both enjoyed the film.

Anyone who loves a good romance, something a little different and is ready for a good cry...I suggest you make 'Safe Haven' a film you go and watch, and become one of your favourites along with most of the Nicholas Sparks films. I'm going to give this film a 5 star rating, a must see for all Nicholas Sparks and romance lovers, so get your little butts to the cinema soon...
Would love to see this film! :)
