Christmas Candle; Christmas Treats.

I know how candles and smells are loved in the blogging world, and everything's christmassy related on my blog lately, so I guess it's only right that I tell you about the candle I found recently.

I picked up this yankee style candle a couple of weeks ago in Asda and for less than £2, which is great if you ask me! I tend to buy the smaller sample versions of candles as I don't always have them lit  all the time and it's much cheaper than buying the bigger jars.
I wouldn't say it's your average christmassy smell, as it's much sweeter but that's a smell I prefer to have. I want to say it smells exactly as it says, which probably isn't the best description...but it's true! It's a very sweet smell, much like the vanilla scent from Yankee candles, I'd describe it just as the same smell of the 'Christmas Cookie' from Yankee Candle, (which is probably no help)!
I'd suggest this candle to those who love a sweet smelling candle and still reminds them of christmas. I'm not one for the spicier smells, even if they are usually the scent that reminds people of christmas, I'd stick to the scents that remind me of treats like cookies and I just love the smell of vanilla, hmmm.
If you're looking for a simple candle over the festive season and want you're help to smell welcoming, I'd say this will be a smell everyone compliments and will love to have around!?

What candles are you loving at the moment? Do you like sweet smells like me or spicier smells?

  5. I prefer burning the little candles too rather than the large ones, they tend to last quite a long time anyway! But what a bargain buy, sounds like it smells great!
