#100happydays - Days 1 - 10.

A couple of weeks I decided to give the #100happydays a go!
I've not posted every single day, due to being a grumpy shit for a couple days or doing nothing worth posting about, so it's mainly me posting a picture & something that makes me happy every couple of days…which works just as well, right?
I'm also wanting to post more updates on my life, and what better way than writing up a post on 10 happy days until I've posted my 100.

// day one //
I wanted a great reason to start my 100 happy days, and what better way than the day I finally completed university. My 3 years of studying for my degree have been tough, I've struggled so much over this time & to finish my degree is something I'm proud to say I tackled through.
I definitely started my little photo challenge with something that I was proud to share with everyone and a smiling selfie seemed appropriate, but hopefully in the next few weeks I find out whether I'm going to graduate or not (which is killing me not knowing atm).

// day two //
Was a little appreciation post to my dance school. (the black & white group photo), We've recently gone back to lessons after a dance show & each year I feel like my friendships with everyone there becomes stronger, so something that makes me happy is definitely the dance school I've been involved with for 15 years & I'm not ready to quit just yet!?

// day three //
I'm not sure how much I've posted about this on my blog, but for the last year I've been involved with a woman starting up a freelance florist business. Going with her to demonstrations, taking part with flower arranging activities at libraries with children & going to care homes to work with the elderly. I've recently taken up a course of lessons she was running so she could teach others & me how to make amazing arrangement. This was the outcome of my final lesson. I've now learnt to weave, plait and make roses out of leaves, which is really cool!

// day four //
It's the simple things in life that make me happy, like when I find a pair of jeans which I love.
Due to being a shorty, and being what I'd consider an awkward size. I've always struggled to find the perfect pair of jeans. £11 from Primark, I've not stopped wearing them since I bought them.

// day five //
Last weekend I did some temp bar support work at Birmingham's Gay Pride. I've done this for the last two years and for my final shift on the Sunday I did my makeup really 'on point' well at least I thought I did, so obviously I had to share it with everyone, knowing the blogger in me and the bloggers on my instagram would agree it's something that needs to be seen (specially when I did the perfect winged liner).

// day six //
How fun are photobooths? I've never been to a night out or party where they'd hired one of these machines, where you're given props & instant photos. It's safe to say if it was up to me, we'd have been in there all night. But As a final university celebrate the uni bar held a spoof awards & neon night, which was a nice way to spend time with people I'd met over the years & for us to take stupid drunk photos to mark the occassion!?

//day seven //
A photo collage of my favourite memories from college. It's been three year since I finished college, and college was my favourite time in education. I became a different person from the girl I was in high school, I broke away from people that I thought were my friends & made some true friendships. While some are over now & I haven't spoken to most from my course in the last few years, I still love looking back and remembering the times we had together. It's obviously somewhere on my happy days, because well I was happiest then.

// day eight //
This time last week I was at my very first blogger meet up, post here. I got to finally meet some of the bloggers I'd been speaking too on twitter for months now, meet new bloggers & fall in love with so many new blogs. After eating a tasty chinese we headed shopping, which was so much fun having help & opinions from other girls who enjoy these things as much as I do.

// day nine //
Last wednesday myself and my boyfriend visited the SeaLife centre. I've been really excited to go for weeks now, wanting to attempt some fish photography! Although most photos didn't turn out the way I wanted I still have the best day, watching the fish, penguins & the turtles. We then headed to Frankie & Bennys for food afterwards which made for a great afternoon.

// day ten //
For christmas my lovely boyfriend bought me the coolest drinking flash…a camera lens. I've always loved photography & this seems perfect for me. I've not used or taken it out much since but I was craving a cuppa tea before my dance lesson & with not much time I thought it was perfect chance to take this out with me & it was a great cuppa, hehe.

  11. Congratulations on finishing university! I'm called Sarah too, used to be a dancer until I had to give up due to illness and also finding the right jeans is a nightmare for me due to my short legs, haha! *Virtual high five* & I am currently planning the same idea of a blog post! I think we must be twins! I'm on day 2 :) I'm posting mine everyday on instagram, my name is sparklesandstories on there if you fancy checking them out.

    PS. I have now followed your blog, you sent me a link on the last #bbloggers chat - I think I may have fallen in love with your blog, it is divine!!
