life lately; little catch up

Hello my lovelies,
I've been awol from the blogger world the past two months, a post here and there but sadly I haven't had the chance to catch you all up on the doings of my life and since the beginning of April I haven't just been writing assignments, I've had (very little) but some sort of a social life.

April;
So the beginning of April we surprised my boyfriend with a trip to the football, while he thought he had a day of work, his brother had actually sorted him a day off and football tickets. Although the team we went to watch (Aston villa) lost, we were all in good spirits as the day was great and the ground was filled with good atmosphere. A few days later I had a dance show, post here.  I also went out for lunch and drinks with a friend, just because the weather was lovely! A day at the zoo with my dad meant I spent over half an hour just watching the penguins, which were super cute!! Viewing all these cute animals was a great opportunity to experiment and practice my photography. A month after my birthday, April 23rd was my nana's 80th birthday, I miss her so much but this year I was given the chance to make a flower arrangement for her and granddads grave which made it a little more special for me.

May;
 The end of April and the start of May meant lots of words written and double checking everything was perfect for my final university submissions, one of them being my dissertation. The scariest time of my life is now that I've joined the big world of job searching, though I'm still trying to enjoy a little time off being application forms, cvs and interviews take over my life. With the end of university happening only a week ago I've spent the last 2 weeks celebrating (even before assignments were over), with pub golf being on the agenda (which I won btw), lots of time spent with my boyfriend and seeing relatives I haven't for a while, alongside all that fun I also spent the day at Alton Tower which I've done for the last few years…and guys & girls, the smiler is amazing!! definitely worth our 50 minute queue.

I've not long started the #100happydays so I hope to start a weekly catch up post showing you the things that I get up to and what makes me happy.
