| June Favourites |

For my favourites this month I have a few new things to share with you and I'm sure they're going to be some of my favourites for a while too.

During June I've had so many things happen with my blog, so can I add that to my favourites?
At the start of the month I attended my first bloggers meet up, I met so many lovely people and wish I could meet up with them again soon. My blog also reached 700 followers and I've been more open with friends and family this month…(I found out more friends have had a read, and that made me smile). Alongside my blog, I've also taken my first steps to YouTube, I uploaded my first video last week, being my Room Tour and another coming soon, so I'd love to gain some subscribers beforehand.
On to the products in this post. Many were sneaky purchases throughout this month and from the off set I've fallen in love. A slight mix of beauty and non-beauty.
The start of June saw the bloggers meet up and at the end of the day we had a little event at Lush and I fell in love with this massage bar 'Soft Coeur' (the honeymooner) instantly. I've only used this a few times, mainly after a warm shower and the next day after a tough aerobics/gym session…my attempt at helping my aching muscles. Plus it smells amazing!? Vanilla with a hint of chocolate, hmm!?
After seeing so many reviews on Make-up Revolution, I decided to purchase a few things for myself. I've already posted about my love, here. for the things I bought but these are my favourites right now.
Twist, Reckless, Luscious & Rebel with a Cause are the ones I've used the most, the variation of colours between these add a mixture to my lipstick collection, giving me the chance to experiment with new colours. The texture & formula of these are very similar, a little glossy and shiny but I find them full of colour & very long lasting for £1.
My other favourite from this collection was the Iconic 3 palette, a dupe of the Urban Decay Naked 3, and while there's other dupes at the similar £4 price I've very much fallen for this one. A selection of nude, pinks, rose golds & browns, matte and shimmer shades which all work well together, I can't stop using this product. I'm literally picking it up every time I do my make-up.
Amongst my favourites is Wonderstruck by Taylor Swift, I'd purchased this a few years ago & was completely in love with the scent and with my current perfumes beginning to run out, I decided on an old favourite. The perfect summer scent I believe, smelling very fresh and floral…I've slightly forgotten about my other perfumes and this is currently my go to!

My final beauty favourite is the Eyeko liquid liner which I got free in Glamour magazine.
I'd picked it up purely because it was circulating round the blog-sphere! Hearing some good and bad reviews I became worried about trying it, while only having used it a couple of times overall I'm impressed. The tip being identical to other pens, but I find the application to be easier…or I'm just better at applying eye-liner when it's brand new, who knows!
And my non-beauty favourite is this candle. I bought a pack of strawberry scented candles, found a little jar and myself a little candle. It was actually the first time I'd tried making a candle and I think it was quiet successful and it smells awesome, and strawberry scent makes for a sweet and summery smell (I'm not good with descriptions, but it smells so good)!!

I hope you enjoyed my favourites, only a small selection of things but perfect for June time, colours and smell wise. And I can't wait to continue using everything mentioned throughout summer.

  1. Oh I haven't used a Soft Coeur for ages! I'm a long time Lush fan and I remember when they were first launched! The massage bars are great as extra moisture for super dry places like elbows and knees too!

  2. Where is the candle from? It's so pretty and adorable - I suppose I could make use of the glass jars afterwards too!
