Alchemy Hair Remedy

Alchemy Hair Remedy Review*

Alchemy Hair Remedy £17.99*
This post feels like a long time coming, a few weeks, possibly well over a month? Oops! The lovely people of Alchemy sent me this Grapefruit hair remedy a while ago now and I've been waiting to write up my post since. Of course, for an appropriate review I needed a lengthy time period of using this to know it actually works. And I can happily safe the treatment is slowly but surely working.
A few years ago now I went a little crazy and popped some bleach into my hair and became a bleach blonde girl, and after months of killing my hair I ditched the idea and went back brunette...sadly my hairs condition hasn't really improved since, possibly because I can't keep up with my hair treatments and I still continue to dye my hair.
The treatment comes in the most adorable glass bottle, a handy little size with a cute little cork stopper, and sometimes packaging alone draws me into a product, along with the smell, now thats amazing, such a sweet grapefruit scent which doesn't actually stay for long but I'm still impressed! Alchemy use only 5 oils, as part of this hair treatment and can be used on both dry and damp hair...either 20 minutes plus for shorter treatments or even leaving it on over night for hair that needs that extra help! The remedy is not only helping with nourishing damaged hair, but also helps hair to strengthen and help grow, while making hair manageable, frizz and dandruff free. Which from a 100ml bottle, I'm not complaining and well the smell is amazing and I'm literally sat sniffing the bottle. I hadn't used a hair oil before, so my first few uses were a little messy, but once I'd figured out the right amount to add to my hair, it became easy to comb through for even application over my hair.

I have been using this for a while now, but I must be honest I haven't been able to use it as often as I'd hoped! I can't wait to fit into a routine where I remember to pop this on for 20 minutes before my shower, or even get the chance for more overnight use, but with the hours I work that's a little impossible and my showers always end up being rushed. But although my bad habits mean that I've still been using this a regularly as possible and so far the results are looking good. My hair is definietely benefiting from the treatment, which means the growth (which I've been waiting so long for) is finally coming along.
Are you looking for a hair treatment? Or have you used this one before? Which others can you suggest for me to try?

  4. I've heard a lot of good things about this hair oil. I'm rubbish at looking after my hair, all I seem to do is wash & condition it!

  5. The one thing I do use on my hair periodically is just straight coconut oil. i just put it on for a bit before a shower and then wash it out. Makes my hair so soft and shiny, plus it's cheap! :)

  13. You should! You may not get a full 3 days out of your hair after this, but it's still worth it! It also helps moisten my scalp back up when it gets dry from the winter!
