Marc Jacobs: Daisy, Daisy.

Marc Jacobs: Daisy, Daisy.

It's the beginning of December and I'm currently writing a handful of posts on my day off...yet, everything I seem to be writing has some connection back to Summer. I'm not sure why & I'm not sure how, I love winter and all that is this coming season. Reading the word DAISY, I do instantly think summer. But both of my Marc Jacob perfumes have been purchased during Winter & since have reminded me of moments throughout winter.

My parents bought me daisy back in 2013 for my christmas present, since then it's been repurchased for my birthday this March. While it's got the name of the pretty little flower that take me back to my school days. The scent has a much more harsh tone to it, while it's got that perfect mix of floral and fruity it isn't too sweet. I'm terrible with the undertones and notes of fragrant scents I took to the internet to do some research. The notes I can certainly indentify with are the vanilla, red grapefruit & violet petals, which I think has all been made subtle with the musk and wood scents. Personally this is my favourite scent to use all year round, and the perfect transitioning scent for the summer to winter months.

Now this was the sweetest present, given to me by my brother for graduating last year. I used this almost religiously throughout last winter. Still sticking to the floral and fruity, though I do find this a little more fruiter than the others I've tried with hints of blackberry, jasmine and coconut.  I think I like this as you can't automatically connect the smell with the other daisy scents, giving it that something different.

Both DAISY & DAISY DREAM have become staple scents for me lately. Knowing that both of them can last a while throughout the day. Repeating myself a little today but it works for all times of year and I think that's perfect for this to be someones everyday perfume. If you're looking for a present idea or looking to gift someone something a little higher in price, these are the products I suggest and with that I've linked above the gift boxes.
