Sunday Summary #9 : Rainy Days

SUNDAY SUMMARY #9: RAINY DAYS.

Another Sunday, another rambling post? Possibly, I'm going with the flow this morning.
I've missed a week again, so prepare for a long one. This week has been a weird one when it comes to work, I had my mid-year review and I've come home a little confused to where I stand. Time to prove people wrong and get motivated. There's people around who I'm struggling to get along with but the rest keep me going and I love them for that. Work also had a little melt down last week (well, not little - but it's tooo difficult to explain), it was nice to be in the middle of the craziness and come out at the end of it a little more confident at coping with issues. It''s kind of rewarding knowing that I can handle myself in tough situation, even if I was shaking like a leaf.
I went to Thorpe Park with work this week too, after a long couple of months of organising, a 5 am wake up, I was on my way to my first visit to the theme park and I'll tell you now I had the best time. Trying to cope the full day on only 2 hours sleep was a little tough however, annoyingly we'd chosen the day of our trip which coincided with LOTS of school trips, so the queues we're big and it rained pretty much all day. I captured some perfect photos and although it was a long and tiring day, I can't wait for our next work trip to Alton Towers in September.
Other than Thorpe Park, everything's been a little dull this week. I downloaded Pokemon Go! I have no idea what I'm doing and I guess I'm just doing it to see what the fuss is all about, so far, so good! I redisocovered my love for the MAC Cinderella iridescent pressed powder. I think when I first picked up this product I wasn't really clued up on makeup & this time round, it's made such a difference to my overall makeup look.
I've spent the last couple of weeks watching One Tree Hill. If you know me well, you know my slightly obsession with this tv series...it's like my teen angst rolled into one - do I still have teen angst in my 20s? If you've never watched the series, I highly recommend it! If you're a fan like me, you'll understand my love? Today I've watched a few episodes of this in bed, I've woken up with some random/weird rash all over my body. I'm having family members check me over, called in sick and watching OTH to keep me occupied. I guess there's an upside to being sick.
I don't think I need to explain but I've gone another week with some crazy support from you AMAZING lot. So much love and it continues to give me that buzz to keep writing. This month, I'm focusing on sharing some blogging tips with you all, this week saw the first post of many. Catch up with how I improved my blog and follow me here so you don't miss any posts.

  1. I love posts like this so much! Probably because I'm nosey lol but it's so nice just to hear about other people's lives aside from the polished blogger we all try to be!

Sounds like everything's been pretty full on for you lovely - I'm glad you got a day out at Thorpe Park to enjoy yourself :) I've never actually watched One Tree Hill but it's another one on my list - I'm binge-watching Pretty Little Liars at the moment and oh my actual God it's amazing!

I did download Pokemon Go but I got confused and haven't given it a proper go yet - you must let me know if you figure it out!!
