EMPTIES #1: GREY/PURPLE HAIR PRODUCTS.

Hi everyone; happy Friday!
It's no secret that my hair is a multicoloured mess but since my disastrous hair change back in 2012 I've been aware of my hair up-keep and health this time round. Wait, who am I kidding? I'm just as bad as I was last time round only this time I have a little more knowledge under my belt and a little more money to spend when things do go wrong.
Thankfully I've not yet had to make an emergency hair appointment since adding my own colours, the hairdresser did the initial platinum but I've built on it since 1) b/c I'm stupidly impatient. 2) The cost of a hair appointment can get crazy expensive. Although I've not used any bleach since March, so my colour is going strong. This means that I've used up plenty of products in the last couple of months, in perfect timing I've finished them all around the same time and what better chance to give you a run down of each product in one detailed post.
BRISTOWS - SILVER SHAMPOO.
This barely cost me £1 and as you can imagine it isn't as perfect as the others. I actually use the bristows shampoo as part of my mix when I pop some colour onto my hair, adding this tones down the brassiness and add just a little extra violet shades to the mix. I've also been using this and the similar conditioner every other day while using the over silver shampoo's in between. Personally, I don't notice much difference to my hair when using it, but I believe adding it to my hair is keeping the colour tone much fresher than using ordinary hair care.

PRO:VOKE - TOUCH OF SILVER.
Ah, the old favourite! When I first went blonde this was the first and only shampoo I knew existed. So when I went blonde this time round, it was obvious this would be the first product I picked up and since then I've always trusted this product. Every couple of weeks I'd leave this on my head for at least an hour - again to remove brassy tones and add some grey/silver colouring, I preferred to use this when I've put a little more colour on my hair - like the time I went pink etc.
CRAZY COLOURS - SILVER.
Once I'd decided to take the plunge into the silver/grey lifestyle, I picked up all the silver shampoos and some hair care but I also picked up some dyes too! Honestly, this was useless...it added nothing to my hair. It didn't remove any tones or add any colour, personally I think I was prepared for that. It's silver...what did I expect? Again like the other products, I actually used this to mix colours - when I wanted pink or purple shades in my hair, I'd use the silver to create an almost pastel colour.
DADDY-O SHAMPOO.
Finding this shampoo was a god-send, it's been perfect for my hair. It's a much thicker product, it doesn't make my hair too soft - which I'm all for and it's the most perfect shade of sparkling purple...oh, and smells like parma violets.
BLEACH LONDON - BRUISED VIOLET.
I purchased this last year when I went through the whole ombre obsession - courtesy of the Zoella trend! I picked up for £5 used it a couple times mixed with my pink dyes...because that's a thing I've been doing for over a year now - adding purples & pinks. Well, I found it hidden in the depths of my drawers and decided to pop in on my head one day, no hesitation I just did it. Of course whilst I was washing it away I panicked that I'd hate it but in-fact fell in love with the grey/purple shade and I've not been able to achieve it since. And why not? Because bleach london got rid of this colour and I will forever be heart broken.
All these have been saviours during my silver/grey period and I've even repurchase the products I can and I'm testing out a few more - reviews to come, of course. I've got a hair appointment booked for Tuesday morning, I'm currently scrolling through my pinterest boards and deciding on a new hair style, wish me luck!
