Sunday Summary #19: What If?

SUNDAY SUMMARY #19: WHAT IF?

Ever get those days when you put life and thoughts into perspective; I had a moment during the week and it's been on my mind ever since, it's simply what if? What if, moments never happened, friendships were never made or that simple thing went differently. I didn't want this to come across as a morbid so I'm going to try and make this as positive as possible.
I've also done some really fun things this week which I'll update you on before the end of the post.

What if I never got stupidly drunk one Friday night & had the courage to talk to a boy? Maybe we would've met again but what if we hadn't? 4.5 years ago I was miserable and heartbroken, I got drunk and I saw a guy I'd met a couple weeks beforehand. I had a few too many and felt this courage to talk with Tom, and 4 and half years later I still get to talk with him everyday. It's soppy as hell but I was thinking a few days ago how I could've ignored him that evening, I could've said no to our first date and life would be SO different right now.

What if I never started See The Stars blog? This might be a little extreme but let's think about it, I started my blog with very little knowledge when it came to makeup - I just enjoyed my photography and I've always enjoyed sharing things online and a blog was just a perfect step up from Tumblr. I didn't really know what a blog was until I saw others creating them & I guess I jumped on the bandwagon. I've learnt more about makeup in the last few years than I could imagine, I've made some great friends who understand me and my love for this community and if I never made this blog - my love for makeup might still be here, but not the friendships!

What if I said NO to my first job? Okay, so originally I did say no! I was a little pushed into my first job; I was scared and didn't feel ready but it's lead me to my current job and I'll forever be grateful for that. My confidence grew more than I could imagine, I've been training to sign off as management and recently went for another position. Even if these things done work out in the end, I'm just happy that I got this far!

What if some friendships never stopped? This and the conversation with Tom are what initiated this blog post. I've lost a fair amount of friendships over the years, some have been for the best and some I'm still getting over. I was once part of a friendship group which was large and it was great; it was fun-filled with week nights at the pub and weekends at the clubs. With so many of us, the laughter never stopped - but with the laughter came lots of drama. Since the friendships have stopped, the group has come smaller, the laughter continues (luckily) but the drama has stopped. I love my friends and I'm almost glad that I've lost those toxic relationships.
Now I've got that off my chest; onto the exciting things I've done this week. I had the week off, it was meant to be filled with relaxing days and some fun days out. Whilst I had those days out, I missed the relaxing days and I've been back at work this weekend and it's almost as though the week never happened! My boyfriend and his brother are both personal trainers and this week I took some photographs of them whilst they were working out. They'll be using these on their fitness out, which if you're into that you can find it, here. We were all really happy with how they turned out, the one above being my favourite!  I also got to see You Me At Six this week, my friend drove us to Bristol and I can't describe how much I loved it. This month marks a year since our family dog passed away and my hearts heavy at the moment, we all miss him! And that's all I want to say before I cry my eye's out.
I'm off to meet some blogger friends today; eeep I'm so excited!
Hope you're all having a great day!
