A Letter To My Blogging Friends.

A LETTER TO MY BLOGGING FRIENDS...

February 12th marks my four years writing See The Stars.

Whilst I have another post planned for this day, I wanted to write something a little more heartfelt today. Truth be told I've written and rewritten this post a couple of times now - somehow I'm struggling to find the words, because really this is just one massive thank you. Rather than getting caught up with keeping in theme with my usual blogging, I thought I'd share my thoughts with an 'open letter to my blogging friends'. Whether we've met before or we're simply online pals, this is for you...

Dear friends,

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! A hundred times thank you.
I wouldn't of got through these four years of blogging without a little help from you.

Not only with my blogging but my personal life too; whether it's the threads I create on twitter or the posts I write about my bad days; I know you're always there to support me. Whether you're just listening or being my virtual shoulder to cry eye, you've been a rock to me since 2013. I entered this blogging community a little unfamiliar to what was about to happen - I hadn't found the online craze at this point, to be perfectly honest...I don't remember how I got started at all, but I did and I wouldn't image it any other way. I used to write and think no one was reading but now I know I have the constant support for each post I share - not everything will be to everyone's taste but that's fine, I understand.

My parents have always been slightly cautious of my interest in talking to people online, my first blogger meet up in 2014 - they were petrified of what I was getting myself into and now I'm travelling to London or Leeds with girls they don't know and thankfully they're 100% supportive and excited to hear about the people I'm meeting. Whether it's meeting a whole room full at blogging events or arranging to meet up for drinks and a gossip, I know I've found some life long friends in you...and the fact that we can chat for hours without any awkward silence - well that's a good enough sign to me.

The times I've considered quitting and you've told me not to and you've motivated me to keep going. You motivate me a lot, whether it be with your studying, watching you pursue your careers choices or watching the effort you put into writing your blog; I'm proud and motivated. Whether you're writing for fun, or a part time/full time job, your content inspires me...especially when I'm struggling myself. You show me why I should write for fun but also why I should work towards job opportunities while they're possible. With that you've taught me how to improve my writing, my photography and how the whole blogging world works, although some of the technical jargon will forever be the bane of my life.

So, from the bottom of my heart - thank you.
Thank you for your continued support, your inspiration and your friendship. I'd list every one of you individually but we'd be here for a while; just know I'm grateful that you're in my life and I hope you know where I am if you ever need a similar shoulder to cry on or just a little cheerleader for you blog.

- I'm your girl!
xoxo
