Spring Summer 2017 - Wishlist

SPRING/SUMMER 2017 - WISHLIST.

Hello!

I've almost had an epiphany when it comes to my style recently; and to celebrate that I thought I'd share a quick Spring/Summer wish-list.

{Quick side note: I received Photoshop Elements for my birthday and I've finally loaded it onto my computer; so I've been playing around with brushes and fonts for this post. I'm undecided whether to keep brushes and designs as something I can make my own and combine with my blog style but be prepared for little designs here and there for the foreseeable future.

A couple months back I was determined to 'find my style' everything in my wardrobe has left me feeling miserable and out of place for so long, my style was either too 'try-hard' or too 'lazy' and I just couldn't find that perfect in between. It got to a point where I gave up, I was wearing black jeans and jumper with black Vans, so so stylish and almost identical to my work uniform. I've been picking up clothes since then, all very similar but somehow I've branch out and found some stylish clothing and I suddenly feel some what confident in my own skin.
EMBROIDERED STRIPED TOP / BLACK LACE-UP BODYSUIT / FAUX LEATHER BIKER JACKET /
CROCHET LACE TRIM BLOUSE SHOPPER WITH ZIPS /
BLACK STRAP SANDALS / FLORAL EMBROIDERED MOM JEANS /

Personally I think I'm always going to struggle when it comes to my style; it's finding that balance between rock chic and grunge with floral patterns and pretty frills - I'm extremely jealous of the girls who manage to pull this off - bravo girls, bravo!

You'll notice a theme within this wish-list, I tried to expand away from that grunge look but focus on the pretty colours of Spring/Summer. One noticeable statement pieces for my wardrobe is OVERSIZED. It's actually a style I've had for quite some time but it wasn't until recently that I've felt I've 'mastered' it. With this wish-list I wanted to move away from my standard black basics, with the rocker tee's and the dark colours - obviously I'm still lusting over them, have you seen that LACE UP BODYSUIT  above? Something I wouldn't typically wear but I'm drawn in by the colours and the approach of the lace wouldn't be too revealing on my chest.

FLAMINGO JUMPSUIT / EMBROIDERED PEPLUM TOP / SMALL SHOULDER BAG /
THE BAHAMAS ISLAND T-SHIRT / WHITE FLORAL EMBROIDERED BLOUSE /
/ RECLAIMED VINTAGE GINGHAM SHIRT / BURGUNDY BANDANA /

I've also been lusting after the peplum style, especially on the sleeves. Simplistic colours with embroidered design and those peplum sleeves. I tried to stay away from prints and patterns for a while however I'm really excited by them now. I'm currently trying to save my money but it's payday in a couple days and I'd love nothing more than to make an order to end this month. My personal favourite from these being the BAHAMAS ISLAND tee and the RECLAIMED VINTAGE shirt - I only recently discovered PULL AND BEAR  so it's all the more exciting that I've found items that I adore and all the more difficult to resist making an order. I've also been scrolling through ASOS more lately.

Why oh why, do I agree to save my money and continue to torment myself with online shopping. I'm excited to experiment with my spring/summer wardrobe, I'm all the more excited to work within my own wardrobe until my bank balance allows me to make a cheeky purchases (or two).
