5 Spring to Summer Beauty Essentials.

THIS POST INCLUDES PR SAMPLES FROM FRAGRANCE DIRECT.

SPRING/SUMMER BEAUTY ESSENTIALS.

I AM SO EXCITED,

Unfortunately if you read my last post, I said that I'm taking a little hiatus from blogging - life has gotten in the way and I'm struggling with a few things at the moment. I plan to come back in a couple weeks time I just need some time offline and concentrating on that for now. However, this post has been in my drafts for the longest time now and I think it's about time to share with you.

We're in the mists transitioning between Spring to Summer (and currently it's looking like winter in my garden) but right now, I don't know what's worse, my lack of a suntan or the fact I had to work through the hot summer days...let's hope we get similar summer situations when it's officially summer, right? Baring in mind the happy sunny days, I thought it was time I share my beauty essentials for this time of year.

I wanted to call this a routine, but if you've been reading my blog for some time you'll be aware of my inability to follow ANY kind of routine. And this is a perfect example, with every skincare and beauty product I always plan to do the same; and fail miserably. All that being said, I still have products that I try to use on a regular basis and I thought it was best to share the 'routine' I have this current season.

You can tell straight away that I purchased Spring and Summer like products, either by the bottle or by the scent. I do it around Christmas time, so why not around summer - although, I'm still using some bath products from Christmas because Spiced Apple & Cinnamon are just TOO good!

BATISTE DRY SHAMPOO: TROPICAL.
You can all agree that Dry Shampoo is a life saver! Not only do I lack any routine but I'm also the laziest person, EVER. My hair is constantly a mess and it's currently something that I can't style - but also can't afford to get fixed, so you see my dilemma. So this tropical scented dry shampoo has been my go-to recently, personally I think I'm drawn to the colourful bottle more than anything else. The scent of course resembles something tropical but it's nothing special. It's dry shampoo and it's saves me from those greasy days so it's a winner whatever the scent.

PALMERS NATURAL BRONZE GRADUAL TAN.
It's gotten to a point in my life that I lack so much Vitamin D, I'm now being referred to as a vampire. I guess that's an achievement in itself as I can finally become a Cullen (Twilight, anyone? No?). I've tried and tested only a handful of fake tanning products over the years and currently this is the one I prefer most. Whilst most others I've used require washing off after a couple hours. This is a moisturising product which gradually builds to the skin and leaves a completely natural looking tan - and the best thing is, NO STRIKES. Wooo.

MORNING ENERGY DAILY FACIAL SCRUB.
It's products like this that I tend to forget about after a couple uses, it's the 'morning routines' that over time get forgotten about. I'm dragging myself out of bed in the morning after a late night at work, I barely remember my makeup lately so how will I remember my face scrub? Right? But the truth is, this has become a favourite of mine when in desperate need. I've been one of the lucky one when it comes to my skin, it tends to be clear and I very few problems with it. Although recently I've been getting a very spotty chin, I'm never sure whether it's hormonal or purely down to stress but as often as possible (or when I remember) this light lemon fresh scrub has become my go-to. The lemon scent helps to feel a brighten start to my day.

VERA WANG PRINCESS 100ML.
I've wanted to test out PRINCESS* for the longest time. It's been on my wish-lists for quite a while and it's taken until recently to finally get my hands on it....personally I think it's the bottle that's drawn me in the way it has. I've found the scent to be much lighter than I anticipated; which isn't necessarily a bad thing - unfortunately light scents tend not to last too long. However Princess is this gorgeous light  floral tone that smells similar to KENZO -  I think the reason I like this so much is that the scent takes me back to when I was 13 years old and I'd chosen to take home the Kenzo Perfume from her flat after my nan passed away. To find that scent that reminds me of that time and her, make this bottle a little more sentimental to me.

MARC JACOBS DAISY BUBBLY SHOWER GEL.
I'm currently in the process of clearing out my bedroom (information on that to follow in a future post) but during one of my clear out days I found my stash of Daisy shower gels from the many gift sets I've received over the years. I find this a refreshing edition to my shower routine and gives me that hint of Daisy in my life - which I'm in love with.

Thanks to Frangrance Direct for my perfume, this has become an instant favourite in my collection.
