47 Experiences I've Had At Home.

50 EXPERIENCES I'VE HAD AT HOME.

Today; Sunday 2nd July I'm currently moving out, unpacking bags and boxes and building furniture, yeah boy!
This girl here; the shy and self-conscious girl is moving out of her childhood home and in with friends. I made the decision a couple weeks ago and it's been a case of planning and prepping since then. I've been trying to write this in advance so we'll see how smoothly this transition works out and I'll be sure to keep you updated over the weeks after the move.
To mark the occasion I thought I'd share some experiences I've had in this house, the ups/the downs the happiest days and the most heartbreaking, I thought I'd put it all out there for you to read. I'm mainly focusing on the experiences I've had from my bedroom; the place I've been most comfortable since 2001(?). There's two reasons I'm looking forward to sharing this post 1) I'm SO excited to finally find the independence I've been looking for. 2) A couple weeks back one of my best friends made a comment about how I've been avoiding my house or spending time in my bedroom; how after recent experiences in said bedroom has made me unattached from the place I once found my comforting. And so  I can't wait to pack up and have a fresh start now.

1. MOVING HOMES AT THE AGE OF SEVEN/EIGHT.
- I'm still slightly attached to the family home we lived in over 15 years ago, so much so when it went on sale last year I wanted to look at the options of buying it. Although this house has been home for much longer.
2. BUNK BEDS > SINGLE BEDS > DOUBLE BEDS.
3. THREE RE-DECORATIONS TO MARK MY COMINGS OF AGE.
4. MY FIRST SLEEPOVERS.
- The memories of the first sleepover we had at home is one of my favourite childhood memories.
5. THE TIME A BOY STAYED OVER.
- okay so minus childhood friends who slept over when I was 10. The first time I had a boy stay over was (not how I planned) and 100% isn't the experience you're probably imagining...myself, an old friend and said boy watched films all night and unintentionally spent the night in my bed.
6. OH MY, ALL THOSE LATE NIGHTS CRYING OVER BOYS.
7. THINKING IT WAS OKAY THAT BOYS AND GIRLS COULD BE FRIENDS W/O FALLING FOR EACH OTHERS.
8. AND FALLING FOR MY BEST FRIEND.
9. THEN MAKING A MOVE ON SAID BEST FRIEND.
10. THE DAYS I 'FAKED' SICKNESS TO STAY IN BED & WATCH THE OC.
- True story.

17. OH MY LIFE, THE COURSE WORK & ALL THE ALL-NIGHTERS.
18. DAYDREAMING W/ A SCHOOL FRIEND HOW COLLEGE WOULD BE.
19. AND IT BEING NOTHING LIKE SKINS AS WE'D IMAGINED.
- I mean maybe it was a little similar, but such a let down in comparison!
20. RE-DECORATING MY BEDROOM & SLEEPING IN THE LIVING ROOM FOR A WEEK.
21. DURING MY GCSE EXAM SEASON FYI.
22. GETTING READY FOR PROM.
23. AND COMING HOME HATING PROM.

24. WHAT I THOUGHT WAS HEARTBREAK.
25. AND THE REAL HEARTBREAK.
- The soul destroying heartbreak that I'm currently experiencing whilst I'm plastering on that oh so false smile, I'm questioning everything I believed in for 5 years and how I never want to experience this again. I believe anyone who tells me it'll get better with time, but right now it hurts like hell.
26. READING GEORGE ORWELL - 1984 TO IMPRESS A GUY.
27. AND DISCOVERING A LOVE FOR YOU ME AT SIX & ENTER SHIKARI FOR SAID BOY.

- I told you my college experience was nothing like skins...
30. HAVING MY FIRST PRE DRINKS BEFORE 18TH BIRTHDAY PARTIES.
31. BECOMING KNOWN AS THE PARTY GIRL.
-I honestly went from never drinking to drinking every weekend with my friends.

40. WAKING UP AT 6AM BEFORE SCHOOL TO WATCH DAWSON CREEK ON CHANNEL 5.

43. MY PET HAMSTER STITCH.
44. THAT 5AM WAKE UP WHEN WE FOUND OUT OUR FAMILY DOG PASSED AWAY.
- We'd left him at the emergency vets after he suddenly fell in, that 5am call is one of the most heartbreaking things I've experienced and almost 2 years later still find myself in tears thinking about it.
45. ALL THOSE TIMES I THOUGHT I WAS AN INTERIOR DESIGNER & REARRANGED AND REARRANGED MY ROOM.
- one of my career dreams would to become an interior designers; or to sell homes. I love designs, homes and the possibilities they have.
46. I'VE CRIED A LOT IN THIS BEDROOM
47. BUT I'VE ALSO BEEN EXTREMELY HAPPY TOO.

I feel as though my life as a teenager and young adult has been pretty boring now I've written this post.

As boring as it might seem; I've experienced a fair bit within these four walls. I've tried almost every creative hobby, I've experiences what I thought was love and spent nights crying over far too many fuckboys. I genuinely fell in love but unfortunately had my heartbroken recently. I've gained and lost friendships and now only know how they're doing via Facebook. This year I've been focused on finding my 'career path' although I have a list of things I want to try out.

I've had the most supportive friends throughout this month; who're encouraging and helping me with my fresh start. I'm moving forward, planning and have already experienced more in the last few weeks than I have done in a long time.

No promises but this means I'll be back blogging officially in a couple weeks time. Improving photography, content and generally trying to kick butt in the blogging world.

So I'll see you all again soon, wish me luck
