The Cutest Stationary Haul ft. Edie & Rona. (GIVEAWAY).

THE CUTEST STATIONARY HAUL FT. EDIE & RONA.

There's something I find quite refreshing about September.

It's the start of my favourite season for a start but I also think about the new school years. Granted I've been out of education for three years now but I guess after 21 years in education it's a hard habit to break.

Personally I'm really excited that it's the back to school season, mainly because work will finally be peaceful...to an extent anyway. And the shops are filled with back to school essentials. Now as bloggers we're all a little excited by new stationary, notebooks & anything that means we *look* more organised than we really are, am I right?

Obviously I'm out of education and there's not much need for my endless collection of stationary getting cluttered in my room, but if it's pretty, I buy it.

I'm currently feeling unmotivated with my blogging; I don't feel inspired to take photographs everyday. I don't schedule as often as I would before and I'm not using my notebooks to write down ideas, dates & writing blog posts whilst on the move. And honestly, I'm sad and annoyed at myself. Whilst I know never to force my blogging and I'm completely comfortable in taking my time when it comes to writing posts - I can't help but feel sad that I've been given opportunities from my blog or that I could potentially grow this content into something bigger & find my 'career goal'...if only I keep working at it - doh!

So in an attempt to get my blogging back on track (yet again) these pieces from Edie & Rona have come at a perfect time. I'm going to start using the vintage feel Rifle Paper CO Desktop Notepad to jot down my 'to-do' lists on my blogging days. As it’s so small and handy I can use it on the move, it won’t take up too much room whether I’m writing from my bed or sat in Costa.

A theme you’ll noticed in my stationary purchases is lined notebooks. Time and time again I’ll purchase one knowing full well it won’t be used for another couple months, and alas I did it again. When searching the website I couldn’t help but fall in love with a variety of books & pads (- just give them all damn it). Firstly I’m in love with the patterned and the design, the contrast of the light pastel blue and pink colours in comparison to the black and navy blue shades; also that hint of gold foil is perfectttt. It’s softer spine means I’m not too worried about making that first fold and in the top corner of each page there’s a little space for adding the date on top. It’s the simple pleasures in life but I were to use this as a journal it’s much easier to keep track.

Unless I’m sketching or generally not needing a pen; it’s very rare you’ll find me using a pencil. But it was almost an offer I couldn’t refuse with the eight pack of pencils; with four different designs and two each available…and if you can spot it, the one design matches my notepad, whey. Personally I’m a little in love with the pencils and the variety between each design; annoyingly however as I rarely use them, I’ve not found much use for these yet.
