The one section of my make-up collection that seems to grow the most is my lipstick collection, I'll enter a store with no idea I'm going to purchase one, spend half an hour filling my hand with swatches and half of the time either leaving with a big shopping list or with a new lipstick or two! While my collection may be much smaller to other bloggers, it's still something I've been wanting to share with you for a while.

| collection gothic glam - seduction #1 | makeup revolution - 100% Vamp |
| makeup revolution - rebel with a cause |
| makeup revolution - black heart | collection gothic glam - revenge #3 |
These deep, dark colours are possibly my favourites within my collection, especially throughout the autumn/winter months. Both of the collection colours were part of my staple make-up look throughout the winter of 2013 and I'm sure they'll continue to be a favourite of mine this year. These were my first two purchases of plum colours and I'm excited to pick more in a few months time, I found both colours have a creme finish, extremely long lasting, although they smudged like crazy, the amount of compliments I received when wearing either probably makes for the reason I love them so much.
A few months ago now I did a huge purchase of makeup revolution products with most of the post being lipsticks (post here), these were part of the vamp collection, I think, I purchased these as it was 3 for £2 and when I already wanted to purchase rebel with a cause I just couldn't resist. Though I'm unfortunately disappoint with the two darkest colours, 100% vamp & black heart, I'm keeping them in the hope I can find more use for them in autumn/winter. With all of these the finish again is creme sheen like the others, however I found rebel with a cause to be much better on my lips & longer lasting than the other two. Rebel with a cause is actually slightly more pinky toned similar to collection's #1 seduction!

| rimmel kate moss collection - #22 | makeup revolution - twist |
| makeup revolution - luscious |
| makeup revolution - reckless | rimmel kate moss collection - #01 |
Again my favourites of my collection are reds, I only really started wearing red lipstick last summer though my first lipstick which I loved was a little gloss I think I got free in a magazine when I was 14/15 myself and a friend has identical ones and felt so cool wearing the lipsticks when out together, so when I wanted more colours & found an old photo I knew I needed to get back into wearing it. The first one being from the kate moss collection shade #22, a pink toned red makes it a much brighter colour and perfect for summer time I think only a few days later I picked up my second kate moss lipstick in shade #01, which is more dark toned definitely deep red which is perfect for my adventours days when I want to be a little daring with my colour, also the perfect shade to recreate a 1940's makeup look.
As I already mentioned I purchased many lipsticks a few months ago from makeup revolution, and honestly these three are amongst my favourites, again a creme finish with a little shimmer to each other, something I tend not to be a fan of but reckless and twist instantly became my favourites…while I'm still trying to completely fall in love with luscious I still like the colour, I'm just not sure it likes me. I do like to carry these with me when I wear them, as again I find pretty long lasting I do prefer the top-up of colour after a few hours, plus they're so pretty I just want it to be visible all day.

| rimmel - pink blush #006 | MUA - shade 4 |
| sleek - heartbreaker #779 |
Did anyone else go through the 'wanting to look like a celeb' kind of phase, back when I was 16 (& even now) I was obsessed with Demi Lovato, and her make-up looks were something I aspired to as a teen. During this time she was a girl who had black hair & wore either light or bright pink lips, and as I was too scared to dye my hair black I picked up both colours, those colours were actually the two rimmel ones in this post. I've definitely grown out of that stage & can't seem to work either colour as well as I once thought, but they're still in my collection (bad I know I just don't want to get rid).
The first one pink blush was potentially my first purchase & it's a really pale pink, with a matte(-ish) finish and the other in vogue is a bright fuchsia pink, definitely a barbie girl pink!
A few years later I wanted to try another lighter pink shade & picked up the MUA one before the brand became so popular and for £1 I was pretty excited, but I've struggled to love it since day one…in fact I don't love it at all. The finish is practically gloss & I just don't feel it sits well on my lips.
Can you tell time and time again I'll still attempt the pink lips, so during my purchases with makeup revolution I ordered crime, which I feel is just too similar to the MUA formula, something which I was afraid all the makeup revolution lipsticks would be like, so I'm glad it's just this one. My latest purchase and final pink is this Sleek, heartbreaker I actually wrote a review on this not long ago (here), when I brought it I found it similar to a mac colour I'd been keeping an eye on & came to realise I picked up the wrong one, doh! This lipstick is a matte finish & again is long lasting, the trouble is I do find this matte very drying on my lips, so I like to soften my lips with lush lip scrub before applying.
I either need a change in hair colour so they suit me a little better or just accept that pink lips just aren't for me!

Both a matte finish & actually my first mattes, I don't find the formula drying at all although I don't think that they're as long lasting as I'd hoped, but I still wear these so much & have so much love for mac now that I have the biggest list of lipsticks I now NEED!
I hope you enjoyed having a peek into my collection, hearing my stories as to why I bought them & my thoughts on each product…I'm now about to head to the shops for other needs, I just may come home with a new lipstick or two after writing this, oops!
Do you have any certain favourites? Or any you suggest I give a try next?
I love hearing about others favourites or newest lipsticks.
I love 100% vamp! I like seeing peoples lipstick collections, I like seeing the colours that are worn down due to so much wear, it's such a good testimony to how good the lipstick is.
