Ahh, hello March! You've come around quickly. I apologise for the sudden disappearance last month, I've been kicking myself for not blogging regularly, as it was something I wanted to focus on this year. I spent the majority of February working and sleeping and during the last two weeks I found myself focusing my spare time on filling up my 2015 Project Life.

If you've been a regular reader of my blog, you'll have seen that I started Project Life in January 2015, I worked on it at least once a week or once a month at the most...but by August I lost my love for it, so this month I've been ordering 4 months worth of memories and also got a little caught up buying new journalling cards and lots of much so, that not all of them have arrived yet!

After a long day at work I finished my shift to an email to say the Becky Higgins Everyday Core Kit back in stock and I jumped at the chance to buy it. I've spent a good couple of months waiting to get my hands on this core's so popular it had sold out, EVERYWHERE! Thankfully I got my order in before it completely sold out again. It has 500+ journalling cards, either 6x4 or 3x4 cards, either with designs, phrases or space to write your journalling. I'm so obsessed with this kit, such simple designs but work so well. While waiting for this journalling cards I purchased a few mixed kits from some wonderful ladies on a Facebook page I'm a member of, while I'm completing my 2015 album...I've started collecting mixed kits, but I want as many monochrome as possible. I've already got enough cards to complete 2015 and 2016's albums! Alongside all these essentials I need for my scrapbook, another is the layout pages, some I've had my eyes on for a while have been this variety pack. Smaller than my usual 12x12 page protecters, I can now use this to add extra photos and journalling for special occasions which has worked out well as I've ordered too many Disneyland Photos, so I've created an extra page with these.

With my order on Hey Little Magpie, I also ordered some Heidi Swapp monochrome stickers and Maggie Holmes black and gold foil stickers...admittedly I still find both packs cute and will definitely be used to decorate future layouts, sadly I wish they were a little lower in price. Embellishments have become my favourite thing about scrapbooking; so I have gone a little embellishment mad recently. From The Works I purchased two sets of wooden words, with a variety of words I can use this just to fill up a page or add that extra detail to my photos...and I won't complain at £1 each. I also picked up some adorable gold foil washi tape and some gold effect distress spray when on a recent trip to Hobby Craft. During my shop at hobby craft, I couldn't find many Project Life branded items but instead found these monochrome & gold foiled card stock & stamp kit, and obviously I couldn't resist. My final purchase for this post is the adorable handheld sewing machine, it's got everything you need to sew things like a machine but from your pocket. I'm yet to get the hang of it and find a way of using it, but when I do...this WILL become my favourite thing.

I'll be doing a part 2 at the end of the month when the rest of my pieces arrive, many of which are Disney themed for my Disneyland Layout. I'll be sharing some of my layouts from my 2015 scrapbook and hopefully giving Project Life a little more love on See The Stars in the future.
