MONTHLY MOVIES: JULY, AUGUST & SEPTEMBER.
At the beginning of the year I honestly thought that this post would be the easier to keep up with.
How difficult could it be to write one consistent post each month? The answer being very apparently.
My blogging has taken a serious hit this summer; which has been a common theme for me throughout the years and as we’re approaching the A/W I think I’ll be finding my motivation, more ideas and generally finding more time to write and publish my posts - I’ve got my fingers crossed anyway.
I’ve always tried to be consistent with my blogging but unfortunately I’ve noticed I tend to lul during the summer. Whether that being down to what I think is a *non-existent* social life, working extra hours or just a general lack of motivation throughout the warmer heat. Thankfully for me (and hopefully you) with us approaching winter I find this burst of excitement to spend the colder months wrapped in a blanket, watching films (ironically) and writing blog posts with copious amounts of hot chocolate. I’m now dreaming of dark and colder nights, hot chocolate and the Birmingham Christmas market, fuck I’m excited…anyone else?
However, I should learn by now not to make any promises.
I’d love to use the excuse that I’ve been extremely busy but we all know that’s probably far from the truth, fortunately for me though I’ve found my excitement of movie watching again. And luckily for me I'm currently curled up in bed feeling so sick - so I think I'll be watching films over the next few days until I begin to feel better.

As you can see I’ve had the pleasure of watching a variety of different films and genres over the last couple months. You’ll already know that the chick flicks were personally amongst my favourites; but I was introduced to some new choices ‘To the Bone’, ‘The Longest Ride’ and ‘Horrible Bosses’ being some of the new films I hadn’t watched before.
As stubborn as I can be when I want to watch an easy & predictable film; I’m lucky enough to live with a group of people who will introduce me to a variety of different genres….unless it’s horror and they’ve never seen me leave the room so fast.
